Wow. This gave me hope. REAL hope and inspiration.
I have dealt with being disabled since I was born. I have 2 rods and 30 screws in my spine due to a birth deformity. The surgery didn't go quite as planned, as I lost feeling in my left leg. I "walk" with 2 crutches (they wrap around my arms for support) and a leg brace. I also have Huntingtons disease, a genetic disorder. This cuts my life very short. THEREFORE--I live my life like its my last day, every day. I don't let anything hold me back. I play guitar, every Saturday night, with my band and I don't care who's shouting, "hey, she's a girl. AND crippled. She can't play guitar." I have a good time. You're only going to live once, so make the most of it.
This clip gave me hope that there are others like me who make the best of what they have.
If anyone has any questions about Huntingtons', guitars, or anything else, feel free to address a comment to me:-)
Peace,
-Jovie

i just want the amazing man in the video and the person who posted this to know that you have given me enough hope to live through tonight. i come from a violent home, but the abuse is over now and everyone has been fine for years--everyone but me. i have seen small children beaten, beautiful girls starve themselves, kind people mistreated, and precious boys nearly take their own lives and others'. the things i have seen from my home life are enough to drive me mad, but instead i drink, cut, take pain-killers, and drink some more. i have tried to take my life before and i promised myself i would never go back, but here i am. what i saw in this video almost gives me enough hope to erase everything else from my mind. thank you more than i can say for this beautiful message.

We've all been through hard times, through sharp pain and despair, some more than others, but each and everyone in our own personal way. Yes, this video is inspiring, it really gives you a lot to think about and even a lot more reasons to fight.

Wow. Legitimately the most touching video I think I hve ever seen. To be that dedicated to something that even a handicap can't stop you? That is just amazingly poignant. Oh my gosh. Can't even think of anything more amazing than that level of dedication.

Even if you have to take things day to day, hour by hour, or even minute by minute, there is always hope. Don't ever give up, you can, and will make it thru

Jovie and Manda.
Words cannot express the positive vibes that I am sending both of your ways.
Jovie: you possess an inner strength that I only wish that I had.
Manda: I'm so sorry that your sister is gone. I can't describe the pain it feels to know that some of us find the light back to a reason to live, and some of us don't in time.

Wow, if only all of us had such dedication to the things we love.
@Rachael - I'd love to talk to you, if you want. Your words touched me. Just drop me a line here - or via e-mail. Just mention TWLOHA in subject line so it doesn't get lost in spam filter.
@Jovie - Wow! That's the spirit. I tip my hat off to you. You're inspiring.
@ Manda: I'm very sorry for your loss. Now most important: take care of yourself. Get help if you need it. Please.
