    Hey Guys,

Shortly after we annouced the NYC Photo Shoot (for Rolling Stone) a few weeks back, we got an email from a guy named John Canfield. John is a Film student at NYU and was writing to ask if he could film the event for a project for one of his classes.

Well, after several hours of filming and roughly 150 hours of editing, we're excited for you to see John's film. His professor and classmates loved it and we hope you will too. John shot most of the NYC footage and Dustin Miller was generous in providing additional footage (Fall '08 tour, Heavy and Light '09, etc.) In the end, it's a great summary of TWLOHA as well as another look at a special day in Washington Square Park - strangers coming together for something that was very much "more than a photo shoot". John's film captures the heart of the matter and we're grateful that he would share his time and talent with us.

John would like to dedicate this film to his friend Marc Alden Strizzi (6/20/90 - 12/13/07)

    Peace to you.
    jamie

John, brilliant job on your "short" film. Lots of work and really gets the message across. Congrats. May TWLOHA grow and grow, so the hopeless know there IS HOPE.
Thank you.

It's beautiful! I'm really sorry I couldn't be there, but it was a bit too far from the Netherlands (unfortunately). I love the short film, it captures all you stand for, thank you so much. It really made my day :)

i just searched about the movement, and what are you guys about.
i am very happy for what you've been doing!
this video was great to explain better what's TWLOHA about.
God bless you guys!

Oh my gosh this is AMAZING!! This really captured the whole story, our purpose for doing this - not to praise or idolize one person, but to come together for something good, centered in hope and love.
I was very happy to see footage from the Heavy and Light and Fall 08 tours.
Fantastic job, John. Thank you <3

Kudos from Canada!! I think everything you're doing is so phenomenal and sooooo needed.

I just wondered if all your tshirts are short sleeved. Usually we like to hide our sins under long sleeves. Is this part of the message?

I wish you much continued success. luvvins!

Great video! yaya! (: When I first heard about TWLOHA...I thought it was a band and it bothered me that I did not know what it was, haha.
I saw the shirts on Hot Topic, searched on playlist.com to see if it was a band, searched it up on google, and that is how I found it. Lolz. xD

Anyhooz, great video, I cried at the end, lolz. (: xD

I knew about TWLOHA before I was diagnosed with depression, and I think it was easier to come to terms with after reading Renee's story and knowing that I could get out of it.
I'm still inspired everyday by both Jamie and Renee, and they keep me hopeful and strong!
Thank you for everything <3

Thank you.
Thank you, Jamie for giving me a home, a purpose, a reason to stay away from the depression that threatens to consume.
Thank you, John, because I know now how to explain to a friend what I mean when I say she isn't alone, that more people love her than she will ever know.
Hope is Real. Rescue is Possible. Love is the Movement.

Jamie,
That was amazing, I loved it. Thanks for sharing it with the TWLOHA community. I could watch that again. and again. (and again...)
I leave you with these words:
Hang in there. Though it's tough, victory will taste the sweetest with a dose of defeat first.
Peace to YOU tonight, Jamie.
xoxo.

There is a sense that there is love, and that by living I can find that love. Without TWLOHA I don't know that that sense would have been as real to me, or real at all. The video captures that sense in a palpable way. Great job, John. I'm really happy you stuck with the project despite the work =).

With Hope,
Pat

John...you are truly gifted. I hope to use this video on February 13th at our TWLOHA day at Albany Medical Center. I can't wait to have you share this with the Strizzi Family.
There is hope in time,
Tammy

Wow, wow, wow.
This goes to show what TWLOHA is all about.
In the end when you all sang "All You Need Is Love" and Jamie was saying the monologue, I started crying.

Love IS the movement, and the vision is better ending.

I love you all.

John,
I have gone on this site continuously for the past 2 years and it had more and more meaning to me each day after Marc passed away. To see his name on this website made my heart stop, words cant describe, and it is amazing what you have done in his honor. You did an incredible job! John, thank you so much for this, and thank you Jamie for sharing it with others.

I was not able to watch the video because I am on my cell phone however I have known about TWLOHA for quite some time now and I absolutely support and cherish the message. I have had depression for about 10 years and before I had a hand on it I was self destructive. I believe this movement will help others to see that there is another route to take besides self destruction. I made a choice about a year ago to get the word Love tattoed to my arm, I actually have my appointment tomorrow to do so! Keep up the awesome work and I will try to do my part! Thank you so much!

John, what a fantastic job! Marc would have been so proud. I can't wait for the Strizzis to see it, I know they will absolutely love it as well. Ever since Marc died, I have been following TWLOHA and it has inspired me so much. Reading this blog and seeing his name written here is absolutely amazing and it makes me so happy that you did this in his honor. Keep up the great work!
