MOVE Conference: Toronto

December 4th and 5th we will be bringing MOVE to Toronto, ON and we would like to invite you to be a part of it. Our MOVE community conferences are two day events where we look more in depth at some of the issues TWLOHA addresses. It is an effort to begin a conversation that battles stigma and shame with honesty and compassion. Led by professional counselors Aaron and Michelle Moore and some of the TWLOHA staff, attendees will gain a better understanding of what is behind these struggles, what drives them, what recovery looks like and how we can make a difference. Our hope is that you leave encouraged, inspired, and informed. MOVE conferences are done in a limited size, allowing for difficult topics to be presented and discussed in a personal setting which lends to more dynamic interaction between participants and staff. It has been this interaction and format that has made the MOVE conferences impacting for those who have attended. We would love for you to come and join us!

I want to go to this sooo much because I really want to start a TWLOHA Uchapter at my school but it is so close to finals so I can't =[... hopefully next time. I really like the video though!

I'm going to try my best to raise enough money to go.

By the way -- if under 18, are you allowed to go with for example a child & youth worker, a youth pastor, a teacher, etc.? Or does it have to be a parent/guardian?

I can't make it! ugghh I really would love to attend but school get's in the way, I surely would have been there though. Have lot's of fun :)

Im so inspired by you guys, I really want to help people like this, when I leave school, I wanna get into councelling, and hopefully, one day, I'll be starting Hope conferences fo TWLOHA :)

Actually got selected to go, but with my brother going into grad school next semester, my mother said that I cannot go this time because of the distance I have to travel. I was really upset, but we should be able to go when TWLOHA hosts one again in the US. I really want to start a U Chapter. So, back to the drawing board for me.
