As much as I dislike Miley, and I'm definitely not impressed with Joaquin's antics in the past, I think it's cool to get some celebrity backing for TWLOHA. As a counselor I cannot begin to tell you all the importance of awareness and support for the lovely beings hurting out there! It is wonderful that people continue to get the message out about suicide and self harm. Let's keep spreading awareness! And remember that September is suicide awareness month (not that you need a special month to be aware that people are hurting, but sometimes a little extra oomph helps!), so let's keep at it! Vote, donate, or just get involved at a local community level! Thanks Liv, Joaquin and Miley and all of the rest for getting this up and going! Peace.

As much as I hate Miley Cyrus, I'm happy she joined in I myself have been battling depression, self-harm and suicide, and I've gone two months clean now with the help of counselling and my friends. Learning about TWLOHA has really helped me and my friends, as several of them have battled self harm too.

TWLOHA deserves all the money it can get, it's a brilliant cause.

Its a wonderful cause and I don't think depression, addiction, suicide, self injury etc. are recognized enough. Especially in the work environment. Medication has helped me to overcome my depression. I don't know Miley or Joaquin personally, but Kudos to them. This is awesome!!

This is a great cause to donate to. And how the heck can anyone hate Miley Cyrus? Her TV show is over-the-top hammy because it is aimed at kids, but she herself seems like a very smart, talented, good-hearted human being. And as she comes of age, if she wants to show off the fact that she is an attractive female, let her enjoy that aspect of her life as well. It's not anything evil.

Even when it comes down to serious things like this, some people still can't stop to bash Miley - that's horrible!

She spends so much time doing several charities including TWLOHA and many other organisations which support the poor, the sick and those with special needs!

Miley Cyrus is a talented & inspiring young lady and i wish more of today's Celebs would be like her.

This is a very good point..we are all here either because we are seeking help or we want to help others. Celebrities face the same issues as the rest of us, the biggest difference is that their issues are put in magazines, on the internet, etc. for the whole world to see. Why cant we show them the same love and compassion that we all show one another? After all, we are all human.

Whoa... Everybody have to see this, there is a lot of people that think that Miley is a 'Bad Girl' but, she isn't. I hope that everybody makes a 'mind change' and re-order their expectations. Well, i just wanna say that Miley is an Angel!
