At the end of our HEAVY AND LIGHT intro video, the crowd stood looking toward the stage, expecting the curtain to open to the first song of the night. Instead? An invitation from a very special poet in the balcony.

I sit here in awe. What talent. What pure and amazing words.
"...what beautiful battlefields you are..." That line alone brought tears to my eyes. Such a deep meaning, such a beautiful thought, such a powerful moment.

I was familiar with this poem before he performed it at Heavy and Light. It means so much to me. "Speak every time you stand so you do not forget yourself." He has reminded me to remember myself.
